Staff was lovely… very nice people I love every single one of the staff made me felt welcome and appreciated… me buying bottle of water for an all inclusive hotel makes no sense, not even purchasing The liquor bother me but buying water makes no sense. Over all the hotel was clean an nice… food was wonderful also.

The property is well maintained. The rooms are cleaned daily. Beautiful view of the capital from the roof top. Loved the local food options. There are no elevators, so prepare for the short walks.

I’d just like to say I had a great two in a half days at Bel Jou! I celebrated my birthday there with family and friends and we all wished we had stayed longer. From the moment we got there, we were greeted with such care and enthusiasm. The staff was super helpful, patient and knowledgeable even when it seemed that we called (mostly bothered them lol) on their expertise a lot. The pool, food, staff and activities were all great! I am already ready to book again and have recommended to friends as well.

Wonderful! What a joy it was to stay here. The Staff was very nice. The food and drinks were great. IF you stay at this hotel, DO NOT WALK OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL AT NIGHT, wasn't given pre-warning of this, 10-15 mins of walking from the hotel me and my partner were ROBBED AT KNIFE POINT by a group of boys. Duty of care by the General Manager was poor AF, I was not going to report the incident due to the nature of where we were, but he advised it would be good, so I agreed. Was robbed on Monday night, GM spoked to me on tues morning, saying he would give me a form to fill, 24hrs passed nothing, saw him dancing with guests 2 NIGHTS in a row, still no form, he came up to me thurs evening the day before I leave and asked if I had the form, (I was thinking, did you give me any form like you said you would) I've now checked out and no form to be seen. I don't have a problem with the robbery as such, it is what it is. But don't dare act like you care, which is what pissed me off the most, you shouldn't have even come up to me. Me and my partner have different flights, so I check out before them, so I go to settle the bill and ask the desk if there is anything else I need to pay for, baring in mind we have both been robbed 2 bank cards have gone and my DL, so I didn't want there to be any issues, she said nothing left to pay. I leave the hotel and arrive in Antigua and my partner messages me staying there's an outstanding bill of $48, and they can't access their bank account at this point due to us blocking accounts. IM SO OVER HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THIS HOTEL IS, WILL NOT BE RETURNING

First things first, poor planning on my part and not understanding the geography of the island. This hotel is in Castries and a lot of the more toruist centered activities are in Soufriere. These cities are an hour away on some very curvy roads, so don't make the mistake I did! The hotel did look very nice and had a nice view of the ocean, but I think the best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. They were even completely understanding when we left only after a night, though we wish we could've gotten a partial refund Cons: -Hotel room was alright, very spacious, but kind of felt run down. The room smelled like mildew, the entire shower had some sort of film of grime on it. We got a king room, but it was just 2 twin mattresses put together -Another first time international traveler mistake: The room had no outlets for US. The hotel did give us one, but in a tech centered world, it's hard to keep devices charged when you have to rotate out chargers -Finally the worst thing was the food. Pizza from the snack bar was good, but the buffet was terrible, which is bad considering it's kind of the main food choice. The food was bland at best, but overall not good. Dinner started at 630 and we got there 15 minutes after but the food tasted like it had been sitting there for hours -The night we stayed, they had karoke at the rooftop bar. It went on pretty late at night and we could hear it clearly, but our room wasn't that close to it
