St George’s visit.
No one communicates through the Vrbo app. You have to call directly to speak to the property manager. There were no check-in instructions sent despite my numerous requests. I had to call and was told that someone would meet me at the property. The condo was clean and comfortable. However, the toaster, microwave, oven and washing machine were inoperable. I did let the manager know right away, and nothing was fixed before my departure. The manager, Hazel, was very friendly and helpful, but was not the owner and I had to communicate all my concerns through her to the owner. I was told I would be given a credit and as of the date of this review, I have not received anything. It is a good 25 minute walk to the grocery store and restaurants in town. Note there are a lot of steep portions on the walks. Taxis charge anywhere between 20-40 from the condo to grocery store/restaurants one way. It was disappointing that a lot of the amenities did not work as I would have booked in the future since I will be making additional trips.
