Bare minimum
Room was clean; however, had to ask for towels 3 times. No fridge or microwave. Mattress not comfortable. No furniture to unload clothes. Bare minimum. Good if you looking for just a bed and shower.

Property needs a lot of work done. Everything is old and worn. I would never recommend or stay at this hotel again. The only thing I enjoyed was the pool but it did have a swim up bar with no pool without a bartender. Terrible!!!!

It was a great spot for the price. Nothing special but it was the off season. Sadly they didn’t offer any tours, but felt safe, welcoming, and a nice view.

Staff, Ozele in particular, were super nice and helpful. Not a luxury inn but had everything I needed and the price was right. If you’re looking for a solid budget lodging I highly recommend Tropical Paradise.

Cabana 15…….Great Location. All of the property needs to be updated. Holes in doors, ceiling fan didn’t work. Swimming pool had algae and cloudy water. Great concept but needs drastic refurbishing!

The exterior of the property with the swim up bar and pool, were fine, the little cabanas were cute from the outside, but from the inside, lights and fans did not work, outlets were at inconvenient spots, hot water was intermittent in the shower, but the hot water faucet on the sink whistled all the time. The towels were stained and holey, sheets were stained, and no one could find a remote for our TV, meaning we could use the TV at high volume on the only channel we could turn to, which was in Spanish. There were no buttons on the TV to fix that. The only saving grace was that the AC worked.

The rooms are run down and need basic upkeep such as tightening towel bars in the restrooms. Staff is less than interested to offer assistance, good luck getting any extra information (if you arrive early there is a baggage room, but they may not offer it). They just stand there and stare at you. Not really sure if the kitchen is open, no one said anything about it. The pool saves the entire property, without it I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Room #5 is tiny and I wouldn’t suggest it suitable for 2 people to share. #15 smells of mould and has ants in the bathroom and chatting with people it seems like something was broken in each room.

Overall, the property was nice for the price point. I wish the curtains were not semi sheer, made dressing and sleeping difficult with the outside lights on. The larger bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but the other bed in my room was better.

The property is away from most of the noise and has super nice grounds. The staff was also very nice. If you're wanting a nice place to relax and get away from it all but be within walking distance to food and other activities, then I recommend staying here.
