beautiful beach and good food at the buffet despite long queues to get it. Room needs to be totally refurbished to be compared to an European 5 stars resort! However, the staying was pleasant!

Property was not clean.Amenities were not provided. We had to call sevearl times to get the mini bar in the rooms and not all rooms were provided with it.Beach towela were not provided in all rooms. Buffet was crowded and there was not enough food.

Memories at Grand Memories Cayo Santa Maria
The first thing you will perhaps ask is... how is the food? This is Cuba! Many of you may have heard that the food is not up to standards and what they serve is not something to remember. If you have not been to Havana, you may have a wrong impression of food in Cuba. Cuban food is tasty. Arroz Fritos, Pork Burgers, Thick Ham and Cheese Bocaditos.. and many more. The resort however fails to impress the guests with the flavours of the real Cuba. Aside from this lackluster feature of most all inclusive resorts in Cuba... you will see and feel the warmth of the Cuban people. The concierge, the chamber maid, the waiter, the waitress, the reception, the bartender... all of them strive to make your stay memorable. You have to remember that the average Cuban makes 20 CUCs a month and it is not enough to survive. People who work here survive on tips. 1 CUC is plenty and they will feel a deep gratitude. When you are in Cuba, bring clothes, toys (snorkels), shampoo, other toiletries for men and women that you will offload during and after your trip. A bottle of shampoo costs around 7 CUC or more... what to us foreigners is a basic necessity is a luxury to the Cubans. The beach is pristine, not crowded, and the beach hut serves you food and alcohol non-stop. Maybe a few more CUCs would get you a special treatment... :-) Names like Yake, Dasiel, Dayron, Robinson, Julio... and many more offers their heart because this is their life. Appreciate Cuba! Love the people!

Our room was clean, but the bed wasn't. We did had a nice view from the balcony at the pool. Buffet was oke, not special, but it had enough to choose from. Fruit was not what you would expect. Close to the beach and enough bars where you can get your drinks.

Unpleasant. There were not dishes neither enough food. At the beginning I was discriminated by the bartender because he speculated that I was a Cuban resident in the island, so I did not qualify for some services. Then, after I showed him my American passport, the service was better. Be ready to face tons of sand-flies.

Nous avons du changer de chambre car la première sentait fortement mauvais, la baie vitrée donnant sur le balcon ne s ouvrait pas, les draps étaient tachés et les carrelages de la salle de bain tombaient dans la baignoire. Le check-in annoncé à 15h n'a pas pu se faire à l heure car la Chambre n'était pas prête. Les prestations proposées ne correspondent pas à un hotel 5 étoiles. Je pense que cet hotel doit être rénové au plus vite.

rimarrà proprio un grand memories!
Se non fosse per il direttore ( italiano) gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione nonché per il personale stupendo avrei fatto una recensione totalmente negativa.Ho soggiornato per le festività natalizie, Le camere spaziose e bagno nella norma, letti confortevoli. Location stupenda ma purtroppo cibo pessimo, ripetitivo. Mi sono ammalato per il mangiare davvero spregievole e purtroppo essendo una delle priorità di un all inclusive lo sconsiglio vivamente. Deluso purtroppo.Animazione nulla di particolare.
