This is a super unique and amazing place. The home is small and rustic with tons of character, and surrounded by nature. The kitchen and bath are nicely updated and the space is very comfortable overall. With 10 acres you have privacy, space and the ability to truly relax and enjoy nature. Whether you are coming out as a couple to have a romantic time gazing at the stars, a family to have a fun time running around and playing or a group of people having a great night around the fire, you will LOVE this place!!
Notes:
There are 3 cameras on the exterior of the home for security. The one facing the entrance of the property is on 100% of the time. The other 2 the guest has the option to unplug for privacy.
Guests are responsible for checking the fence if they intend on keeping an animal securely in that area.
Please only harvest the fruits, veggies and eggs that you will consume during your stay.
The owner of the property will be by a couple of times a week to water the garden and check on the chickens.
There is an electric fence strung along the top of the garden fence.
Dogs and horses are ok but NOT CATS.
Guests are required to climb stairs.
Access:
This property is located off Hwy 345 about 9 miles from Cedar Key. The home and outdoor areas are available for guest use. There are a couple of buildings on the property that are locked and not for guest use. The chicken coup is locked but eggs can be harvested from the boxes at the back of the coup.
- Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
- Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
- Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
- Parties and/or events are not allowed
- No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
- Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
- $150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
- Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
- Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
- Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
- Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
- Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
- Please do your dishes.
- No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
