The location is ideal - right off of I-390 but a very quiet area. Room had everything we needed. A free Sunday "Cedar Rapids Gazette" was welcome as was a nice brkf area. The only problem were very small ants on the bathroom floor which we reported.

Had lengthy conversation at front desk re staying on same room for another night as was driving 24hrs non stop Yet at 11am had a knock on foor asking why i havent checked out!! Im staying and had paid for an additional night Dont reception communicate with H/K?

My stay was ok. Room needs some maintenance- phone was filthy, inside microwave was disgusting as if something exploded but was never cleaned up, window was full of handprints, tub had rust on drain, vent in bathroom was full of dust. Ceiling had numerous patched spots. Bed frame had an inch of dust on it- At least the sheets were clean and a reasonable continental breakfast.

The hotel was ok for what was paid. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable, it was similar to sleeping on the floor. There was no fan in the bathroom (it appeared to be painted over) so it was very hot/muggy in the room when getting out of the shower. We had checked in online and the front desk clerk couldn’t find the check in until she was repeatedly asked if she was sure it wasn’t completed already. The pool walls were green and almost looked moldy.

Bed linens were clean and fresh...carpets in fair shape but clean. Bathroom was clean with exception of 2 dark hairs on floor. Kitchen area was stocked with coffee.
