A little confused at first; there is no unloading area, parked in convention center no parking area across the street, buzzing to gain entrance was a little different. There were two thermostats in the room, there was a vent above the door that blew warm air into the room that was not controlled by either one, ended up running A/C with outside temps in 50's. Garbage on sidewalks and homeless population was a little discerning. Staff were very helpfull and courteous.

The hotel itself is locked. You need a key to even get into the building. It was a nice sense of security as there were many homeless across the street living under the convention center as well as people loitering around by the doors of the hotel. The staff did not talk much. They weren’t rude, but very matter of fact and to the point. Most of them FaceTiming as they were taking care of you. Again, not rude, but not friendly. There are parking lots down the street. However if you come after attendant hours it is confusing to determine which post belongs to which lot. To no fault of the hotel itself of course. Maybe they could buy into a lot. Even if they charged for parking in it, just at a discount for their customers. Inside the hotel was decently clean, as far as we could tell. Our room was quiet (except for outside noice) and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Especially for the price paid !

The stay was ok. Rooms “used” but clean and comfy. The front desk early daytime was ok. Later in the evening not so much, like asking for toilet paper was a daunting task. The location is great for getting around if you are ok with walking a little. Reading market,Chinatown, fashion district and Independence hall are all within about 15min walk or closer. The cleanliness around the building (not their fault) is gross, bums and garbage and nasty smells but again not their fault. Parking is down the block in a lot for $48 a day. Overall not bad.

The receptionist was not cordial and had lack of information and didn’t mention about the breakfast. There is no parking in the property and the parking was far away from the hotel. The air condition didn’t work at all. The window was in the front and the curtains didn’t close properly. The stay experience was terrible.

The hotel was a lot cleaner and nicer than the rest of the area but the rooms had a weird design with the bathroom and the sink and counter area

If I could give zero stars I would. The room had no window!!!! It was a traumatizing experience. And in the description it doesn’t say rooms don’t have windows. Also, we cut our stay short because of that, they did not make a problem obviously used to such reaction from people. The area is also unsafe as homeless shelter is just next to it. Expedia should not list such properties in its listing.

I feel it is incredibly important to know that there is a drop in center for the homeless directly beside this facility and homeless camped along both side of the street for a few blocks on both sides of the facility. Arriving with and eldery person and grandchild was not ok! As we approached the hotel in the evening there was fighting and chaos just feet away from the entrance door. I do NOT recommend!

Gordon, general manager - super friendly and huge infectious smile. Parking lot down the block, and Reading Terminal about a block way. Both are equally convenience and easy to get to. We would stay again - great location and very convenient.
