I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking."

"I had family visiting from Australia, and this wonderfully presented, spacious and historic property was the ideal base to show them the delights of our picturesque corner of Wiltshire (Longleat, Stonehenge etc..) and beyond. Highly recommended."

"Unable to give a rating for this property as someone else was already staying in the accommodation we had booked thru Vrbo. Spent 4 hours travelling to a luxury lodge for 2 night break. Upon arrival, we found that someone else was already in occupation. The 'Host' of the lodge was unhelpful about our situation and just told us to contact Vrbo who it seems didn't book or confirm our break with the 'host'. The first call to Vrbo lasted just over 5 minutes and then I got cut off. My 2nd call lasted over 50 minutes, I had to explain the whole situation again to two different people, in two different departments. We demanded a refund and then had to make our own arrangements to find alternative accommodation for the weekend. If you are going to use a 3rd party company to book your holiday, please contact the Venue directly in advance to confirm your booking. This was my first booking with Vrbo, and I will not be using them again. Totally useless and ruined our weekend plans."

"The Stable was a charming property, very clean, fully equipped kitchen and beautiful garden, ideal for what we needed. It is wonderfully located for various attractions/places to visit. The owners Tracey and Barrie were really lovely and accommodating, even giving us sweetpeas from their garden and offering us to help ourselves to lettuces growing outside. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you both!"
