Overall this property is quite nice. It has been upgraded. Capet in the halls are getting pretty dirty. Especially the first floor. This hotel is next to Mayo Scottsdale and nothing else really around, but they charge nightly for parking and feel like it’s just way to make extra money don’t see why tons of parking not ever full. No 3rd day room refresh as stated. Had to ask for coffee and towels everyday and remove our own trash. I would stay again because of the proximity to Mayo Scottsdale.

We had an excellent stay, was very happy with the cleanliness and wood flooring was not sticky or tacky. Staff was very friendly and we loved the key entry.

Overall this is a really nice place. Since parking isn’t free and breakfast is pretty limited, it would be nice if coffee was free. Felt a little nickel and dimed, but would stay here again. Nice modern rooms. Not sound proof or pet free though. Could hear a dog barking but luckily not constant.

Well…. First off.. When i checked in they said there was a $7.00! a day parking fee… Say What!!??… It did not say anything about a parking fee in making the reservation…. That is a total “ back door move” shame in you Sonesta boss man/ woman… Riduculous! Plus the hotel is out in no mans land, which is fine, but do really need to tack that on.. if you want more money just have it in your rate to begin with! Mercy…!.. They said its been in effect for a year now..( asked another employee, he said a few months.. hmmm)… Thing is i stayed there just 2 weeks earlier , and a couple more times in the past few months.. No parking fee then….?? When i expressed my opinion on the so called parking fee, the lady checking me in literally walked away in mid check in and made the other young gentlemen check me in.. ( He did a great job taking over)….. The lady that just walked away? Needs a different job!… I would like a response from Sonesta.. If you can merit one…..?

Disappointing over the holidays
Went over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Booked the room so we could have breakfast at the hotel and wife and I could have drinks at the bar at night. Bar and restaurant were closed Weds night through Sunday. Room smelled of cigarette smoke with cigarette butts on the patio. Left over food and items from the previous guest. Bathroom had no fan/vent. The Bathroom for turned the towels grey. The front desk was nice, but wouldn't give a discount for the closed bar and restaurant. They did offer a new room that didn't smell like smoke but we had already unpacked after a long drive. It felt like someone was trying to put lipstick on a motel 6. The beds and pillows were actually very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The front desk was nice but guest satisfaction wasn't their primary concern over the bottom line.

Funky and not in the good way.
The bed was sunken in from being old so it felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. Lots of slamming doors late at night and morning. The air conditioner wall unit was really, really loud even when not actively cooling. The carpet in the halls was pretty dirty.

I came to the area to attend a memorial service. The location was perfect, central to everything I needed. The price was quite good considering the price of other hotels. The consequence of this was that a girls soccer team also chose this hotel. They were there for only one night but definitely made their presence known. The room was clean and spacious with the needed amenities, including parking. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

Went to the room they gave me… Was not cleaned….. Next room., no wash cloths, no mid range towels.. only big…. Ice machine on first floor not working… Ive stayed at this property many times… this time a disappointment…… May want to talk to your house keeping staff…… hope this is not a trend, if so, bye bye…
