Piece of Solitude
I really enjoyed the stillness, the mini equine visits, and the kindness of Elizabeth and Gary. We loved waking up to the freshly baked goods every morning. The morning walks on the property were peaceful and a wonderful way to let go of the typical busyness of our lives. We loved Boo's energy and the sweetness of Chaco. We miss them already. We look forward to retuning someday. Thank you Elizabeth and Gary!

Stars, Skies and Natural Scenery
A wonderful place and space to rest, recharge and be inspired for a project I'm working on. Thanks Liz and Gary for creating such a comfortable haven, providing great information and conversation about what to do, see and eat/drink locally, and for the yummy morning (still-warm) baked goodies -- all of which made my stay a memorable one!

Amazing location
We absolutely loved waking up to a cool breeze, the braying of the donkey and the sound of little hooves wandering the property. The warm bread/muffins every morning were a delicious bonus. The properties location between Santa Fe and Albuquerque let us easily explore all that both cities have to offer while the surprising little community of Madrid was so fun we ended up spending an entire day with the local artists. Then after each days adventures we got to enjoy beautiful sunsets and dark skies filled with millions of stars. With such great hosts, beautiful views, and perfect location I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Santa Fe with mini-horses as a bonus.
This cozy home away from home is located only 20 minutes from Santa Fe but is also much closer to Cerillos and Madrid which one must visit. Albuquerque is 40 minutes away on the Turquoise Trail. The stay was very pleasant, and as a bonus, the owners have 2 mini horses, a mini mule, and a donkey at the property. The home is somewhat isolated and quiet. In addition for the eco-conscious the property is entirely solar and rainwater is collected and used at the property. all in all it was a nice quiet stay. Of course I can’t forget the warm baked items delivered to our door every morning. Yum.

Amazing stay near Santa Fe
Hosts were friendly helpful and even bright is home baked pastries every morning if our stay. They allowed us to feed the horses some treats and visit with the animals. For the cottage it’s self it was very clean and cozy to stay in. We had no issues with the cottage everything worked great and we got an amazing experience. Would love to stay here again !

What a great time
Liz and Gary were the best hosts. Out daughter is allergic to eggs and Liz baked fresh muffins and banana bread for us. They took the time to introduce us to all their animals, which our kids loved! The cottage was well stocked, clean and very comfortable. We loved our stay.

Quiet, secluded, and centrally located to Santa Fe and Albuquerque
Fantastic hosts (including the minis) and a beautiful property. Exactly what we were looking for: • Remote, secluded, quiet • 45 minutes to Santa Fe • 60 minutes to Albuquerque

Unique vacation experience
This was a perfect location for our family. The hosts are very accommodating- Gary has great advice on activities and Liz makes wonderful morning baked goodies. The horses (and donkey and mule) are wonderful and funny and very entertaining. It made us want to spend all our time at the casita rather than out and about in Santa Fe! We loved being able to bring our dog along as well. Very special family vacation!
