Very good

Make sure to get a room that is on the backside of the hotel, as it lies at the intersection of two very busy roads and there is traffic noise that permeates the main rooms themselves. There was very little English spoken and a 100 RMB deposit is expected; mine was fully refunded. The rooms are of perfectly fine quality, though they have a problem with the distribution of local "spa" (ahem) pamphlets that they're combatting. The location is excellent with easy access to the Martyrs' Park and the Hunan Museum, but metro stations are a good 10 or 15 minute walk to get to. If you can navigate the local bus system, this is no problem, but they run a phenomenal number of routes. Overall, I was pleased with the choice.
Staff helpful and pleasant, even advised me of their loyalty card which made the stay cheaper, also gave me a discounted rate on the day of my birthday. Room clean and airy with working ac and good wifi.
This hotel probably deserves more than its rated 2.5 stars. There's nothing special about this place, but in terms of value for money, there is nothing of which to complain. Clean rooms. Good service. The included buffet breakfast is Chinese style and the provision of toast and butter is a bonus.
These Jinjiang hotels are a bit down at heel but clean and comfortable. My room had no window which was a bit depressing but on the plus side was quiet, no honking car horns all night! The staff even the ones who spoke no English were especially helpful. No complaints except for rather dingy restaurant in basement, food was acceptable but I was not confident about hygiene, there are no restaurants nearby.

Reasonable price hotel if booked online.
This hotel was at a reasonable price when I booked online with expedia. When I tried to stay another day a couple of days later on in my trip. They charged me more because I didn't book with expedia. Make sure you only book the exact amount of days you plan to stay because this greedy hotel don't give u a refund or credit. I book for five days in Changsha, but I needed to go to chenzhou on my fourth day. They wouldn't give me a refund on the extra day . This greedy hotel still had enough nerves to charge me for a local call that I made in my room, even though they don't give me a refund for the extra day. Make sure you have your own wifi. They only have the jack for your personal computer in your room. If you want wifi you have to be at the lobby all the time. I had a headache going downstairs to the lobby, because it was incovient and there were Mosquitos. Make sure you know how to speak Chinese because 98% of the staff don't speak or understand English. I had a hard time trying to communicate with them .

Nice location, but nobody speaks English
It's a pretty nice hotel at a reasonable price. I paid for a Internet or wifi room , but I just got a regular room . If you want to use their wifi . You have to have the bottom floors , which are smoking rooms. I had to hang around the lobby just to get the wifi service. I was like an idiot my whole stay , because I'm always in the lobby. Nobody speaks English , so I had a very hard time communicating. Nobody to explain how I can catch a bus , train , or taxi.
The hotel people were very nice, but the hotel was not in very good condition. The room was not that nice. There was a giant post structure in the middle of the room and it really needed some fresh paint. The room was awkward to live in, because of the post structure taking up a major area of the room. The rate was exceptional and I would be inclined to stay there again in a better more fresh room.
It was nice. A lot of places where closed for maintance so I can not say about being close to must see places. That an I do not read or write there language. But they tried to help me the best they could. That meant a lot to me. But I did not known about the charges they had for cleaning the room each day, it would have been nice to have known that before hand. So I could of prepaired for it. Not at check out. But overall it was nice. If they have things that are not included with the price it should be noted, maybe it was but not in english.
hyggeligt hotel, tæt på metro og spisesteder, billig morgenmads buffet med bredt udvalg

Disliked: Staff & service
Check the map before you go!
We spent almost one hour trying to find the place - we had three maps with us and they all showed different places - and even the map from hotels.com was incorrect. Our room didn't have a door for the toilet, just a curtain. The room was big, the internet was Ok, the beds were comfortable. Its conveniently located next to two subway stations and there are lots of shops just 5 min distance. The hotel itself was ok, if you are going to spend around 5 days in the city, it will definitely do it.
Even though the hotel reception doesnt look good, the room is really good. It offers excellent internet connection (which can be quite rare in China) and very comfy bed. It's near the subway, a really big mall and other shops around. The staff didn't speake any English, but they were willing to help, so we used a translator and everything went fine. All in all, good price.
