Retired winegrowers, both passionate and knowledgeable oenophiles, Maryvonne & Daniel open the doors to you of a delightful authentic 19th century winegrower's residence, steeped in history and carefully restored into a very comfortable resort, nestled in the countryside in the very heart of the vineyards of high Mâconnais. Quiet environment in a residential hamlet nestled at the foot of a wooded hill, a stone's throw from the center of the peaceful little typical wine-growing village of Chardonnay, historic cradle of the legendary eponymous grape variety. Nestled in a bucolic green valley in the heart of a charming preserved setting of vineyards, meadows & vast wild forests (dotted with hiking trails, splendid panoramic lookouts and marked mountain bike trails for all levels), the village enjoys a magnificent preserved rural setting , mountainous & hilly, as a notable historical heritage (elegant listed Romanesque church from the 12th century, 12th century manor, former tithe of the Benedictine monks of the Saint-Philibert de Tournus abbey, Neolithic dolmen "legendary stone" listed under the title Historical Monuments…). Very comfortable cottage. Ultra spacious. Large living room. Warm country style with contemporary accents. Large sheltered terrace fitted out under a veranda in place of the original traditional "Mâconnaise gallery", opening onto a pleasant, very neat enclosed garden of 1500m² (with electric gate), perfectly grassed and wooded, a literal natural playground for children. children (with ping-pong table), offering a small aromatic garden as a bonus.
