Property was marketed as recently remodeled. Property was actually being remodeled. Noisy during the morning and closed off in areas that made it inconvenient for navigating the hotel.

This unique and beautifully appointed hotel is on the quiet end of the historic district and central to all the shopping, dining and exploring you'll want to do while visitng Charleston. The staff is wonderful and eager to make your visit the best it can be!

Stayed here with a pup and we could not be happier. The hotel is gorgeous and stylish and we had a convenient ground-level room easy for taking the pooch for a walk. The hotel itself is located in a great spot - not a lot of people around but near to everything you want to do within a 5-10 minute walk or drive. Will most definitely stay here again and highly recommend this spot for those needing to travel with a canine-companion! Five stars all the way!

We have stayed at this property on previous trips to Historic Charleston and were not disappointed on this occasion. Property is located within a short walking distance of the Historic District's shops, restaurants and art gallery's which were a primary reason for our trip. Property is in a safe neighborhood through the traffic on East Bay Street bears alertness for older pedestrians. Recommend this property for those seeking a leisurely weekend and ready access to the charm of this area.

Beautiful property within walking distance of King Street and French Quarter. We didn't cruise but directly across the street from the cruise embark. Breakfast as continental and as expected. Wine and cheese in the afternoon was a welcome surprise. The roof top garden is a hidden gem

Very charming and great customer service. We like that it was easy convenient to shopping and restaurants. Large and beautiful room. We didn’t think the breakfast was good. There was a bar at the hotel, but didn’t serve drinks. We asked for our room to be cleaned during our stay, but it wasn’t done

Property was great. Room was nice and spacious with high ceilings. Great location and nice rooftop. They were still in the process of renovating the dining areas, but it did not affect our stay.
