Great location. The Inn was very cute and quaint. It is historic and a bit dated, but that's what gives the place charm. Everyone is very polite and courteous.

Great place to stay! Breakfast was very good! Kept pastries from a local bakery on a table day and night as well as beverages. Super clean, nice room! Staff was super friendly! Would definitely stay there again! Good location for walking around !

We loved the Barksdale! It’s pet friendly, has the beautiful, authentic Charleston feel, had a great breakfast, and the staff could not have been better! We would go back again and again if we could!

Great location...wonderful staff...very good made to order breakfast...comfy beds. Note the hotel is locked and not staffed after 7:00pm so late arrival must be prearranged.

I spent a weekend with my girlfriend there and we loved the place. Very charming, very clean, excellent service and very sweet staff. Prime location; everything was in walking distance. The only downside was our bed: way too small for two people who aren’t planning on spooning at night.

The Barksdale Inn was absolutely adorable. The inn is beautiful, our room was nicely decorated and very comfortable, and it was a great location to easily walk around Charleston. The staff could not have been nicer. We were so sad to leave!!
