A charming cottage located in the heart of Shem Creek just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds and one bathroom. Living area opens into the kitchen with a dining table for four and coastal chic decor. Enjoy the spacious yard while dining al fresco or walk to one of the great restaurants near by. Located a block from the waters of Shem Creek and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards right at the waters edge. In a 4 block radius there are 18 restaurants and bars, 2 coffee shops, a beverage super store, a farmers market, and 2 antique malls. The heart of downtown Charleston is a 12 minute drive and the beach at Sullivan's Island is 3 miles away. The Historic district of the Old Village is walking distance and offers many beautiful antebellum homes, several nice shops and a first class restaurant. Great Time in Mt. Pleasant
This was a great place for our 3 night stay in the Charleston area. Walking distance to Shem Creek’s restaurants and just a short drive to all of the beaches and into the city. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Mount Pleasant
This cottage was the perfect location for exploring Shem Creek and Old Village, walking Pitt street, plus restaurants basically across the street. It was quiet and peaceful and easy to get to beaches and into the city. It was a bonus being able to bring our dog. The courtyard in the back was fenced in and private even though there is another cottage that shares the yard. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful rental
The rental was very clean and the location was great - walking distance to many restaurants. Shem Creek is a very vibrant area and has the freshest shrimp - right off the boat. We had no issues during our stay - the Owner (Joe) paid us a visit and gave us recommendations on dining/sightseeing etc. Very nice man. We booked for spring 2025 prior to leaving!

Adorable Cottage for Mother/Daughter/Grandma Trip
The cottage was cute, clean and had a very private backyard patio. Perfect for our Mothers Day Trip for three of us. We could walk to all the great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Driving into Downtown Charleston was super easy. We had one issue with the shower not working, but Joe was quick to come fix it.

You cannot beat this location-you’re in downtown Charleston in 12 minutes! Easy walk to Shems Creek restaurants & so much more, but it’s a nice quiet street with a lovely patio. Great fenced in yard for our dog-definitely recommend to stay here-owner is great and very accommodating -we’ll be back next year!

Convenient
Location was great for walking to many restaurants and the local park along Shem Creek. Short driving distance to Charleston, Sullivan Island and Island of Palms. Owner was available for whatever you may have needed him for. And the cottage was a cute comfortable space. We would definitely stay again.
