Exceeds expectations.
All rooms facing a waterfront view that was quite peaceful and beautiful. Comfortably away from downtown Charleston, but close enough to get their quickly for activities.

Room 122 is trash.
Moldy grout in the shower. Staining around the toilet. One of the beds wasn't changed clean when the last people left. I know this because when I laid down there was a horrible smell of cheap perfume on the pillow and sheets when I looked under the pillow there was a piece of weave.... The "maid" is allowed to work in a moomoo like granny where's at home. The plugs in my room by the bed didn't work right. The fridge wasn't able to get cold either. Front desk people aren't very friendly either. Bottom line not worth the money.

The room is certainly comfortable enough, but it was disappointing that we had reserved months in advance, and they could not accommodate the room type we reserved. No consideration was provided such as a small discount, a bottle of water, or even an apology! But other than that service issue, it was a fine brief stay.

Room was extremely clean. Older room that had been recently updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location next to the creek was very pretty. The Continental breakfast was average, but got the job done for being clean. Not a lot of selection. Still not a reason not to stay there. Road noise was the only problem, right on major highway. Would have liked to stayed farther in the back of the property. Yet the room we had was fairly quiet in the middle of complex. Only major sounds were horns or Jake brakes. Would stay there again. Price was very reasonable and Smoke house across the street was awesome for food and drinks

While the property is older, it was clean and the view is great! It is close to a busy main road. We were staying above the lobby at the front and we could hear all of the cars throughout the night so it was a little hard to sleep. Staff was super friendly!

Good stay
We stayed for 3 nights and our overall stay was good. The staff at the front desk were excellent, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was okay too. We had some issues with the room key cards; sometimes had to try a few times to open the door. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We were satisfied with our time there.
