Overall a great place to stay, and the staff were precessional and kind. However, the one thing that would keep me from booking here again is the really strong, chemically air freshener odor that emanates from the lobby and elevators. It got me every time I walked back into the hotel or in the elevator. I felt the need to cover my nose in the elevators. I’m not extremely sensitive to scents but this did me in. To be fair, a few people in my party didn’t mind it.

I thought I was getting a room that had a separate bedroom. The room was big and comfortable but not two separate rooms. Also, the bathroom sink was right next to the bed with no door to separate it from the bedroom. The toilet and shower did have a door.

I needed to call 3 times to have the pullout couch set up in the suite. When they finally came there was no mattress- which may be why the couch was so uncomfortable to sit on. They gave us a roll out bed with no mattress cover or blankets. The toilet paper holder was broken in the bathroom and there was no soap provided in the shower. The staff tried to fix the problems and were all very nice but the experience was not great.

Weekend away w/ the wife and some friends

My wife and I met some friends for the weekend. This hotel had a great location only a block away from King St where we spent a good deal of our time. The staff was awesome, with a good room, clean, and all. Walkable to the visitor center and the music hall where we did a tour and went to a concert.

I’m pleased with the ease of checking in and the cleanliness of the room was great. It is fantastic to have a kitchen area with small children. We enjoyed the free breakfast. It can be slightly noisy due to surrounding area traffic and it’s adjacent to an empty lot is a bit of an eye sore. However, in a few blocks, you are in the shopping area and restaurants which is great.
