The hotel has a fresh new feeling inside and out. The multiple conversation areas throughout the lobby was for me the best feature.

We chose this hotel for the bar, the outside area with comfortable chairs. The service window from the outside area to order drinks from the bar. The pictures must have been from years ago because all the facilities I mentioned haven’t been used for years. He fire pit which looked so nice on Expedia had no ricks, and was rusty from no use. The outside furniture was piled up on the side of the building. The best part of this hotel was the Buffett breakfast and the made to order omelettes!!! But if your thinking of going you may want to think twice!!

We arrived @2am to no staff at the front desk. We waited around for 25 minutes and almost decided to sleep on the couches in the lobby when a staff finally came out of nowhere with pizza in their hand looking guilty, mumbling and apologizing. Then keycards didn’t work so we had to go to the front desk again when all we wanted to do was go to sleep. Definitely a poor check-in experience. The pool was clean and they provided towels. Checkout process was seamless.

Good hotel, terrible room! We stayed last fall for 3-4 nights and had a great stay in a room on an upper floor. This time we were given a ground floor room that had the wheelchair accessible shower, that we did not request. That would have been ok except the floor drain stunk and the room smelled like weed. Had to ask for soap for the sink and shower gel for the shower. Fridge was dorm room type whose door was open when we arrived with a thick cake of ice on the back wall. Hopefully the rest of the rooms are as good as what we had the first time.

Wonderful omelette
It was perfect except for the old fashioned toilet that makes you sit almost on the floor.Breakfast was amazing with fab made to order omelette with the works, yougurt with the most wonderful berries , good strong coffee. Mattress was too soft for us . Other than that, it was super.

Personally had a good stay. However as I was out one day, I was charged for something that didn’t make sense. I called and asked if they could explain the charge to me and the front desk receptionist who’s name was Brandon, was beyond rude. Not only on the phone but also when I arrived back to the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again just for that reason.

We had ants in our window and they actually got into our bags and my purse. We were moved to a new room. They were only willing to provide us with $50 compensation. I spoke with the GM and he offered $75. I believe we should have been compensated with one nights stay. I intend to file a complaint with the corporate office for this incident. Expedia did offer $50 in Key Cash to be used on a future reservation. I’m very unsatisfied with the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt House. It is in a safe area with close proximity to downtown. Easy parking, friendly staff and free breakfast. Highly recommend.
