Love the hotel, but the parking situation is not good. Parking garage is not checked by the hotel so people going to the bar next-door apart there as well. So we should be parking at the hotel, but because of this relaxed policy, we have to trek it from across the road just to get to our room!!!

Nice room and Price
Great accessible beach location, but most rooms did not appear to have a beach view. Nice size room, with several restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is a reasonable driving time into Charleston. The only negative was other guest were loud, slamming doors and appearing to stomp instead of walk through the central hallway.

Clean, solid 3* option steps from the beautiful beach. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was pretty basic but free coffee always appreciated. Double queen room was small and windowless but clean and beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was noisy and kept us up. Deadbolt but did not initially work on door but maintenance fixed it immediately. Definitely a great budget option for girlfriends or families. I’d choose a room with a view next week, was a little soulless without the beach in sight but being so close to it was still worth it!

I would use the room just above the office, by the elevator as a last option. This room was extremely noisy starting at sunrise. Whether it be extreme use of the elevator, or delivery trucks, or the leaf blower.

This place was great! The area is awesome, room was clean. Staff was nice. Only complaint would be, parking is a little difficult on weekends! But I will be back and highly recommend.

Great Location
The hotel was in a great location, right on the beach and strip (shopping areas and restaurants). The only con: walls are thin. Could hear kids making noise throughout the night. Couldn't sleep!

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a stay at the Palm and dinner at Acme. When I arrived check in with smooth with Adam. He gave me two free beverages. Then when we got to our room, there was a nice gift bag with candies and a card from the Palm congratulating us on our anniversary. We had a super great time.

You Truly Get What You Pay For
The women working the front desk were kind, and that is truly the only positive thing I can say about my experience at this property. The room looked tidy enough, but upon further examination I found soap scum coating the tub and shower walls, there were a few sticky rings on different tabletop & counter surfaces, and the floor turned the bottom of my while socks a filthy blackish gray. The bedding felt like sleeping between sheets of cheap paper towels, and the mattress was the worst I’ve ever had to sleep on. The water that came from the sink and shower had a stench, as did the ice from the machine. The vending machines were out of everything, and only offered sugary sodas and energy drinks. An option to purchase water would have been nice, although I imagine they’d be sold out and unstocked as well. Luckily I only had to stay for a single night before joining the rest of my group at an Airbnb on the island.
