We loved our anniversary trip to Kings Street. The Restoration was in the perfect spot. Although we are somewhat local to the area, being within walking distance to everything was very nice, but we could still stay at the hotel for quiet privacy from the public. Very nice stay with very nice staff.

We were super early to check in but they allowed us to drop our luggage off and valet the car anyway! We walked around Charleston for a bit and received a phone call around 2 saying our room was ready already with our bags already in our room. Breakfast served to our door in a cute little basket. Coffee shop next door and restaurant were amazing! Views at the restaurant are beautiful! The staff was beyond helpful and courteous! We’ve stayed in Charleston many times at many different hotels. This was by far our favorite! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Everything was perfect with one exception. The small basket that was delivered each morning was supposed to be a mini continental breakfast for two. What was in the basket was pitiful. One morning there were 2 strawberries, 2 add water oatmeal containers and 2 juices. 2 strawberries? Another basket had one croissant. This is just plain wrong! You charge a hefty rate so I think there can be 2 croissants and more then 2 strawberries for 2 occupants. I still gave 5 stars because everything else was A . That basket was a shocker and a big disappointment. I will be telling everyone about it.

Great hotel! Beautiful rooms and spacious, and great amenities including car service to local spots, came in handy when it was raining, and cute little picnic basket of breakfast left at your door in the morning. Close to everything!
