The staff were amazing but the conditions of the hotel were horrible. The hotel smelled like urine. There were kids running around being loud and fighting at 3 o’clock in the morning. * Unattended kids at all times of the hour * There were bloody towels sitting right outside of the elevator. Hours after breakfast was over there was still food all over the dining area. I will never stay at this location again.
I paid for my stay ahead of time with my booking and when I arrived to check into the hotel they told me THEY WERE OVERBOOKED AND THEY DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR ME TO STAY IN!!!! They said they could refund me & that's it. I'm from out of town. My son & I had no where to stay because every hotel in the area & surrounding areas was completely booked for the weekend. We had to go to the airport & sleep there until our flight the next day. Smh!!!!!
While at the hotel, when I arrived there was a sign in the desk be back in 10 mins. I timed it & we waited for 23 mins until someone to arrived to help us. So to wait that long & then to be told there were no rooms for me to stay in....I WAS PISSED!!!! While waiting for my refund, a guest came to the desk bringing a mop back from mopping her own room from a water incident and she said she needed covers because her room did not come with linens when she checked in! Whaattt! As I tired to call around to find a room, sat down in their main dining around & all the individual chair cushions were peeling, and bench seats were falling apart. There was zero upkeep of the the hotel just from what I could see in the lobby and dining area, plus to see a guest mopping up her room and having no linens upon arrival is crazy! I probably dodged a bullet, but I still can't believe my child & I were left homeless for a weekend due to poor management or should I say the lack there of!!
Facility ran out of towels. Requested room to be cleaned and was told they needed to know the day before if service was needed. This would have been impossible since we arrived the day before.
Lounge was poorly maintained. Staff took to long at check in. Rooms poorly maintained, sheet rock patches visible, bathrooms outdated and furniture old and damaged
Breakfast: Eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, bananas, apples, waffles, 3 kinds of cereal plus all the condiments you need for the listed items.
Beds were comfortable.
The air conditioner in our room didn't work.
2 ice machines - neither worked

Ohh where do I start 1st... I booked 2 rooms at this hotel room 513 and room 506 for my girlfriends birthday weekend(totaling 589.1 room for me and my girl and the other for my sister. We was supposed to stay for 4 nights. Disclaimer check in was on the 26th of sept and check out was on the 30th(i didn't check in until 2am on the 27th so i didn't get to experience one of the nights so thats not their fault but ill tell you what is)...
1st i was given a hard time about a dumb policy that has nothing to do with me. I literally had to beg the clerk at the desk to let me into the rooms that I already paid for through expedia. I was very patient and kind and still she had given me a hard time. She said something about not renting to locals... so if that is the case comfort inn needs to take that up with expedia who they are in partnership with for even allowing me to spend my money and then get all the way there to the hotel just to be harassed and potentially not even get the rooms.
This is a loooong list of things that went wrong with my stay at this hotel from hell.

First, we reserved a 2 queen room since we had 3 people in our party. When we arrived they put us in a single King bed room. The desk was great and was trying to be accommodating. They changed rooms for us and the second room was already occupied. The third room suggested had a small leak due to the AC unit and they informed us that there was some water under the tile. We were ok with it due to needing to get to bed. When we got into the room was was coming from between every tile near the second bed. As we were getting ready, my son said there were bugs crawling the walls in the bathroom. As we were getting ready to go to sleep my son noticed small roaches crawling on the side table and when my wife went to look, she saw a large roach crawling on the bed. We immediately got up and left. Luckily we were able to find another hotel that had a room since there was a game in town and workers in the area that were helping with Hurricane Helene relief. The staff was great but we had to get away from here.
There were tiny insects in a lot of number in my room. Looked to me cockroaches. Could not sleep. Informed the front desk.

The property seemed okay on arrival. In the morning I saw things a bit differently. My bedding had stains on. I found hairs in the bath, wash basin and 1 in the bed. The floor didn't look clean either. Other parts of the premises were clean. The noise from around 6pm to around midnight was very annoying, it sounded like it was outside with vehicles racing and revving.
The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good.
I have stayed here 3 times and they have always been very nice. This last visit, was when Hurricane Helen hit. We landed in Charlotte, not knowing what was happening. The hotel was wonderful and welcoming, even though there was no electricity or water. The city was devastated but the staff went above and beyond. They shared a lantern with us and made a reservation for an additional night. I would give the staff 10 stars and a raise, if I could. I will continue to use this hotel with all my travels through the Charlotte area. It is a great location, with restaurants close and prompt shuttle service. Thank you for keeping my mom and I safe!

Tv did not work. Neither did charging ports in side lamps. They charge a $100 deposit that does not come off your card for 6-10 days.
