The property was good. The room is clean. What I didn’t like: There was there was someone in the parking lot revving their car for a couple hours my first night about 1 o’clock in the morning. Extremely loud and couldn’t sleep. They were lacking someone at the desk, A few times we went to get some help there was no one there. I asked for Marriott points card signed up for it, but never received the card. They asked me to take a picture of the screen. Sheila was very, very helpful when we checked in.

We had to travel a few extra minutes to get away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte to enjoy peace and quiet but it was worth it. It looked to me like this Courtyard had been recently updated and we enjoyed our stay.

I couldn’t figure out where this horrible smell was emanating from until I discovered a sock left behind by someone with obvious hygiene problems. It’s wreaked. Then there were two dirty yellow housekeeping towels in cubby under the television. And the black slate floor was filthy. I’m not sure it had even been mopped. I told the person checking me out the next morning. She said “sorry,” but offered no discount or any other remedy. It’s a lovely hotel, but the cleaning was subpar.

After paying for 5 breakfasts on the app, was informed at breakfast that it only covers 2 adults and 2 kids only. Kids have to order off kids menu and adults could only have 1 hot item or 2 cold items. Waitress (Katrina) was rude because I put the breakfast voucher on the counter and didnt hand it to her. I told her it wasnt intentionally being rude and she told me yes I was. Just all around awful morning experience. Check in was very friendly. There were dirty kleenex under the sink when we checked in.

Came down to visit family nearby and this is the perfect place! Shopping, gas, restaurants and highway all literally walking or one light away! Friendly staff, rooms and amenities very clean! This hotel is definitely my go to when visiting.
