I reserved a room at Holiday Inn near Charlotte Douglas International Airport. When I arrived they said they did not have my room because “when you book with a third party it only if there are any rooms available when you arrive,” and they had given my room away. I was not late to check in. It WAS after Hurricane Helene and they had lots of power workers there trying to get a room but I can’t believe they took my reservation. I had to drive almost an hour back home and sleep 4 hours before driving back, to catch my flight.

The parking lot was difficult to get in and out of. Totally understand that you charge for parking daily for being so close to the airport. However seems a little excessive to pay for parking when you have already paid for the room for the night.

I did not appreciate an employee using their master key to enter our room when we were told to tell staff 24 hours in advance when we needed house keeping, we did NOT request house keeping at all our entire stay. When the employee was asked by us why they were in our room they stated “to confirm we were staying another night”. The employee walked in the room while we were sleeping, the only thing that stopped them from completely walking into the room was the door stopper. The front desk did not care nor did a follow up with us. My phone number was on file, I did not receive a phone call. The room phone was not called. How many days we paid for was also on file. The employees had no respect.

Pay 10 dollars to park ridiculous 18.99 dollars per person for breakfast which was no better than the usual complimentary at most other Hotels unheard of. Will never stay there again!!!!!!!!

I’d love to tell you about my stay however I didn’t stay there. I made a reservation and then called to follow and was told there was no room and then hung up on. I then try to get a refund because it was their fault and they are denying refund! This place is a joke

The mattress was entirely too hard and extremely uncomfortable. You couldn't pay cash for anything. I wanted a bottle of water from the little store they had and took the bottle to the desk to pay only to be pointed to the kiosk to pay by card bcuz they don't take cash. Wall paper was hanging off the wall in some areas, blue tape was used to hold it back in place. Complimentary breakfast and parking no longer exist. I chose Holiday Inn for my visit since I've stayed in decent ones before, but I wouldn't recommend this location to a dog.

When we arrived at the airport, we were to call the hotel for a complimentary bus shuttle pick up. No one ever answered the phone :( We ended up having to take a taxi for 20$ I had booked a room with 1 king bed and ended up with a room with 2 double beds??!!! It was past midnight by the time we got our room and I was in no mood to argue. Needless to say, a disappointing experience.

A package was sent to the hotel and when we asked for it they told us they didnt have it. When we provided the name who signed they said that no one there goes by that name. Eventually they said it was in lost amd.found and that a guest must have signed for it. Im not sure how that happened. Secondly it is an airport hotel and should come with complimentary breakfast
