the property was clean and in excellent shape, the staff was ever accommodating,and the room was great. My only complaint is there was a parking fee of $25 which I dont remember being mentioned when I booked and paid for the room.

The corner king room was very spacious, larger then an avg hotel room by far. The bathroom was extremely small, however, the hotel is undergoing renovations so hopefully an updated bathroom is in the plan. Toilet seat was pealing, bathtub had a trickle of hot water, piece of molding missing from bathroom door, and shower gel that ran out after the 1st night. Pools were closed (outside because of off season and inside due to renovations.) Excellent staff at check-in. The 3 cleaning staff I approached in my hallway didn't speak english so I wasn't able to ask them for help. Nice location in uptown Charlotte. Parking was easy but not free.

Jennifer helped us get a room that we loved (thank you) over the phone. There was a small issue with someone entering our room unannounced during our second day here. Reported it to the front desk and they said the issue would be handled. It was pretty nerve wracking, but we still love the property and will be back next trip.

First class service!
So our value service over basically everything else. From Ron schuler, the manager who checked me in, to Karol, the restaurant maitre'd, to Nohemi, my server, they really made me feel 1st class. Ron really set the mood for the day/night. Good skill. Now, having said that, my "corner" room looked onto the neighboring building, the parking lot gate didn't work right, and the shower curtain was fouled by a towel rack. Small stuff when compared the the personal service these folks put. So ask yourself, which is more important, personal service or facility? I'll take the service every single time.

The manager down at the bar/restaurant was amazing. Her customer service was what everyone dreams they could have. My wife and I went there after the football game to relax and my wife to have a drink. The manager took care of us and my our night amazing. Thank you. Visit Sunday night at around 8:30pm.

Extremely disappointed and unsafe experience. I was woken up at 2 AM because security tried opening my room for a drunk person who didn’t even live there. Thankfully, the latch was on, but the intrusion left me feeling very unsafe. This is completely unacceptable and shows a severe lack of care for guest safety and proper checks. I expected much better from this establishment.

Great location but expect to pay to park
I booked here for the location to take my daughter on a birthday trip. The location was great…it was really close to the downtown life and we even rode around on get scooters from the hotel to there. The beds were comfy and everyone was friendly. I did NOT know, however, there was a parking charge per day of $25. That was crazy!!!
