Welcome to The Pop Inn! This renovated Victorian has been designed for fun with guests in mind. Located in a desirable residential neighborhood, you can safely walk to the historic downtown area or use the house as your jumping off point for vineyard/brewery tours. Whether you're visiting the area for a bachelorette party, wedding, couples' getaway, or family retreat, The Pop Inn is the perfect place to stay to experience the beautiful Charlottesville (aka C'ville) area!

I am always available to help answer questions, assist with any issues and, of course, party plan! If you need suggestions for vineyard tours, restaurants, breweries, hikes, etc. don't hesitate to reach out.

The Locust Grove area of Charlottesville is historic, residential and easily walkable to downtown.

The layout:
Total of 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. All main beds are new, 10" memory foam mattresses. Beds will be made up with fresh linens and plenty of towels are provided for the group. Kitchen comes fully stocked for cooking/eating all standard meals.

First floor:

Entryway/foyer- this is the area with the purple sofa and chairs. A great additional hang space for your crew.

The living room is a great mix of glam and comfy. There is a moveable 50" Smart TV that can easily be placed in the corner when not in use or moved to a more ideal place if you would like to put on a movie/show, even into the dining room or foyer. Just login to your favorite apps throughout your stay!

The living room is adjacent to the entryway and has a door that can shut for privacy and a mini split unit to help control the temp in this room.

The dining room seats 12 and boasts a large communal table, buffet that is full of games (Cards Against Humanity, What Do You Meme, Cads About Matrimony, 80s, 90s and 2000s Quiz games, Monopoly, LIFE, and MUCH more!) We also have a custom champagne cart that is perfect for having a mimosa brunch.

There is a half bath in the hallway that is complete with a stacked washer/dryer.

The kitchen has everything necessary to cook a standard meal, including all dishware/cookware for a group, a dishwasher, electric range, microwave, blender, and a coffee bar. Enjoy the pink SMEG brand toaster and coffee maker. The coffee bar comes complete with 12 individualized coffee mugs, fresh coffee and a reusable coffee filter to make 10 cup pots, sugars and powdered creamers. There is an additional mini fridge in this room for added beverage/food storage for large groups. There are 3 bar stools staged at the peninsula and an additional 3 stools tucked away under another table so that you have the option to gather around the peninsula in a larger conversational group.

Please note that the fridge does not have an ice maker but we will keep the ice bin full and have additional full trays in the freezer.

There is a back exit that leads out to a small outdoor area that has a dining table for 6 and a 4 burner stainless steel grill.

This level has one bedroom with a King size bed and ensuite full bath with a stand-up shower. This room also has a small balcony with some seating.

Second floor:

There is a screened in porch with seating off of bedroom #4. There is a staircase off of the porch that leads down 2 levels to the outdoor/parking area as its own private entrance.

There is a full bathroom with a tub shower in the hallway on second level.

Parking:
Parking is provided for 4 cars in a private lot and there is additional non-metered street parking adjacent to the house that is unlimited and never full. Please inquire for more parking info!

Please note that there is a completely separate basement apartment for the "innkeeper" (not connected in any way through the interior of the house). This will not affect your stay in any way!

There is a bus shelter directly out front of the house for anyone who chooses to use public transportation. Otherwise, wine tours/Ubers will pick up directly at the house or you can easily walk to restaurants/shops/bars downtown.
