Modernised one bedroom house in the heart of the Touraine countryside

The one bedroom accommodation forms part of a recently modernised longere. It retains many of the original features such as the tiled floors but are fully modernised and equipped .
Surrounded by farm land, it is an ideal location for exploring the Chateaux and vineyards of the Loire, the natural beauty of the Brenne area or simply enjoying the many local walking trails through fields and woodland. The local markets, including Loches (Wednesday and Saturday) and Amboise (Friday and Sunday), provide the opportunity to sample the local specialities and there are many excellent restaurants in easy reach.
The lounge/dining room provides a comfortable place to relax whatever the season. For the winter months there is a wood burning stove and the property is centrally heated. There is Smart TV giving you access to your preferred streaming service as well as French TV channels as well as a DVD player (DVDs available). A selection of games and jigsaws are also available. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, a combination microwave/grill/oven, fridge and tea and coffee making equipment. There is access to a washing machine in an adjoining area.
One the first floor, the large bedroom contains a king size bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
Outside there is parking and a private garden with table and chairs and a BBQ.
The garden is secure and well-behaved pets are welcome. We have dogs ourselves and our neighbours in the hamlet have cats and chickens so we ask that your pets are kept under control at all times.
We live near the property and are available for any questions you may have during your stay.
