The Space
A beautiful 6-room bourgeois house from the early 1900s, fully renovated and very comfortable, located in the town of Charvonnex. It’s just 15 minutes from Annecy, less than 40 minutes from the ski slopes, and 25 minutes from Geneva.

Nestled in a peaceful haven of greenery, in a residential neighborhood surrounded by mountains, this charming family home sits at the end of a private cul-de-sac. The house offers approximately 120 m² (1,300 sq ft) of living space on a flat, secluded, and fully landscaped plot of about 1,000 m² (10,700 sq ft), with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains (Parmelan and Tournette – Alps, Bornes Massif).

From the moment you enter, you'll be charmed by the spacious rooms and the tasteful blend of traditional and contemporary design. The house features a large eat-in kitchen semi-open to the living room, which boasts an unobstructed view of the garden and mountains. The original parquet floors and marble fireplace with an integrated pellet stove add to its charm. A WC (without a sink) is located on the ground floor.

The staircase leads to the first floor, which includes a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom, both with access to the balcony. A large bathroom, a laundry room, and another WC (without a sink) are also on this level.

The top floor, formerly the attic, has been converted into two charming bedrooms with exposed beams and a dressing area. Custom-built storage is available throughout the house.

Several parking spaces are available in front of the house, along with an outdoor storage chalet and a bike shelter.

Guest Access
You will have access to the entire house, except for the basement and the outdoor storage chalet.

Dear Guests,

We would like to inform you that the house we are renting is a family home, perfect for one or two families with children.

A baby travel cot (with a real organic cotton mattress) and a highchair are available upon request.

Due to its size and layout, if your group consists of 8 or 9 adults, we recommend not renting this house for stays longer than three nights.

We can provide a 9th bed, which is a foldable guest bed (with a small mattress). If needed, this 7th bed will be set up on the second floor in Bedroom 3, creating a small dormitory.

Please note that the staircase to the second floor has a head clearance that is 15 cm (6 inches) lower than standard (tall guests will need to duck slightly). For this reason, we believe the two upstairs bedrooms are better suited for children.

Additionally, while the house has been carefully renovated, it retains some characteristics typical of older homes.

Despite our efforts to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment, there may be minor quirks associated with this type of property. For example, creaky floors, walls with slight imperfections, or occasional issues with locks or door handles.

For this summer, and to ensure your comfort, we will provide Duux Whisper Flex Smart fans (one per bedroom). In the rare case of a prolonged heatwave, we will install a portable air conditioner at our discretion, as the bedrooms can become warm during extreme heat.

We want to assure you that we have taken all necessary measures to guarantee the safety and comfort of our guests. Regular inspections and maintenance are conducted to ensure the house is in good condition and everything functions properly.

Please also note that our home is not suitable for individuals with disabilities (mobility, visual, mental, or auditory).
