Room didn't appear to have been vacuumed and the AC sounded like a jet engine. We could hear every person talk outside at the pool and in the hallways at midnight while trying to sleep. The pictures of the facility on this site must be extremely old.

The service was good and our room was clean. It was a bit run down but clean enough for one night. The bed and pillows were soft. If you like firm pillows take your own. We did not eat breakfast there. We are ate Cracker Barrel as we were sleeping in. We have stayed on Lookout Mountain twice before and enjoy the view when passing through. I hope that your stay was as enjoyable as ours was.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel was not that good. There was a musty smell throughout the halls. Every time you left the property, your door card had to be reset so you could get back in your room. When you asked for your key to be reset, they didn't even ask for ID! The toilet was wobbly, and the paint and trim were chipped. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, either; it was very bland.

Nice staff, terrible facilities.
The front desk staff was kind and helpful. That’s about the only nice thing I can say about the hotel, though. The pool was dirty, as were the carpet and the ceiling, the equipment in the gym was in disrepair, there was mold on a towel, and the bathroom drain was broken. They desperately need to remodel the whole place. The pictures on the website are very misleading.

Clarion Lookout Mtn - good for price
So-so hotel. It's a little beat up, but mostly clean. Average breakfast. Have stayed here a few times because the price is good, and location works, close to my daughter's college. Stayed at other nearby discount hotels, and this one is better. A little worn, but functional. I'm here to sleep and have breakfast, so it meets those needs.

I stayed here 4 days with my mom. Not sure why but when we checked in the room smelled like cigarettes. I had to buy a candle just to help with room. I can tell the room was being redone so I was trying not to judge too much of how the condition of the room was. Only issue I had was after taking a shower the water would leak onto the carpet next to the bed so that needs to be checked out on a count of the carpet. Other than that staff was all great, price was responsible and hotel was conveniently located near everything.

The property is very outdated and filthy with exception to main lobby. The hallway on 1st floor is not air conditioned the flooring has so many water/ mold stains. Sheets on bed did not appear the cleanest due to stains. Room smelled terrible had to get spray from front desk. The hot breakfast was literally microwaved easy eggs and microwaved sausage patties. The first bench table sat at the cushion sunk in like it was broken and ants were crawling. The second bench i sat down and sunk in even worse. There were boogers on bathroom sink next to toilet. Lastly the kitchen staff wasnt nice to ppl asking for more silverware or more eggs
