Plenty of space
Check in was a breeze. Plenty of space in this place!! Needs some electrical updating but it truly has everything you need. We loved the pool. Day one it was packed with other families renting smaller units but then we had it to our crew of 12 the rest of the week! Trains are loud but kinda cool. We had an autistic child with us so heads up as he was not a fan of the loud horns 3-5 times a day. Everyone had enough space to have privacy while also able to all watch movie or eat together. Things to do are CLOSE! We did Rick City, Lookout baseball game and aquarium visit all great! Thanks so much for a smooth and easy trip for our group!

Christmas in May
Family trip with all the kids and grands - 12 total. House full but still plenty of space and beds left. Sun porch was great for the early morning risers while allowing others to sleep in. Loved the location, so close to everything! The train was not a problem at all and hardly heard it. Pool and hot tub were great! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation - Roomy House
We spent spring break with my siblings and their families along with our Dad; the house was a great size for all of us. We had our separate areas but were able to gather together in the roomy family room, dining room and kitchen. Chattanooga was great and after a day of hiking it was great to relax in the hot tub and sauna; the kids enjoyed the pool. We would recommend the house for sure; our only caution would be the driveway which could be a bit tricky.

Amazing house to host a girls weekend
This house is made for hosting large groups that like separate space or want to all crowd into the same room. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Chattanooga & this house made our down time comfortable & fun. The house is a challenge to find, but once you find it, you find a gem! They even went out of their way to decorating the house specifically for us when I told them we are friends from our days at Auburn.

Amazing Chattanooga Getaway
Every year my family and I take a quick little Christmas Getaway. This house was absolutely perfect for our large family! The kiddos loved the bunkroom and game room and the adults loved having enough space! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plenty of beds, awesome swim spa, the massive tub in the downstairs suite was so great to relax in and so much more. The only sort of negative thing i can say is that you can't adjust the thermostat, but the temp in the home was fairly comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and wood burning fireplaces to keep you nice and warm on colder days. Its very convenient to downtown and just minutes from Ruby Falls and Rock City. It was a great place for our family trip.

Fun for ALL!
We booked this property for our family Christmas. We have people from Floriday and Indiana so this was a great place to meet in the middle. Before we even entered, we were greeted with our name on a sign outside of the house (nice touch)! Entered the house and it was so much better than we even could have imagined! I made up some packets of free and cheap things to do near the house. Needless to say, only a couple of people ventured out. No one wanted to leave the house! The super-large family room was a huge hit with everyone, along with the massive hot tub! Our group utilized it a lot. There are QR codes to scan to help navigate how to use some of the amenities. They also email you and check in with you during your stay (another great touch). I don't normally check my email, I'm a texter. However I did appreciate them checking in on us! The entrance is kind of tricky BUT once you figure it out it is very easy. We use VRBO a lot and we ABSOLUTELY want to book this house again and stay longer next time!!!

The description should indicate stairs
There has to be somewhere on the description of the place that there are several stairs just to get in and stairs throughout the place. We were all older women and we had difficulty going up and down. If you are young and fit it is really a nice place.

Place was great
When the worst thing you can say about a property is that the house was very cold in the middle of August it was pretty great. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, large gathering spaces, great deck, great internet. Group of 14 guys for our annual fantasy football drafts. Place couldn’t be better. Only halfway negative thing is finding the correct way to enter driveway. Loved this property.

Perfect for a crowd!
This house and property was perfect for our multi-generational family of 14 that included 6 children 3-15. The older two children enjoyed sleeping on the steep upper bunks. The 3 year old appreciated the booster seat at the table. The pool and hot tub were really popular. We used one propane tank to grill and also enjoy the fire pit at the pool. Communication is easy with management. We had to call for a repair and someone was there within 15 minutes. If I could, I’d give the place 6 stars because the young Timberroot worker (Paladine) helped with directions to the house and also helped 2 grannies out by carrying heavy items up the steps. We loved the place!

Awesome family vacation
My husband and I had 3 of our 4 grown kids & 2 of their spouses/significant other, 5 of our 6 grandkids ages 16-8. A total of 12 of us in the house and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and not feel cramped. There were bed’s that didn’t get slept in, so definitely room for more people. The large den with the huge sectional sofa & 2 recliners were extremely comfortable & fit everyone with room to spare. The kitchen/dining room was big enough that several of us could be in there cooking & preparing meals & didn’t get in each other’s way. The swim spa was very nice & the swing on the back porch was very comfortable as well. The game room was a nice touch with the pool table, air hockey & foosball. It gave the kids & us adults something to do when we weren’t out by the pool. The pool, BBQ area & the firepit are shared with 2 other rentals, but there are plenty of chairs & seating areas that it wouldn’t have been a problem if everyone staying in all 3 properties were all at the pool at the same time. The steam room didn’t work while we were there, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. It would have been nice to have, but everything else was great so I didn’t give it much weight in my review. There is a bit of a musty smell in the basement, but I always bring air freshener just in case & it wasn’t bad after we sprayed. I was very happy with our stay. We would definitely book again if we decide to do another family vacation in Chattanooga.

Our Stay
This cabin is HUGE! Great place for multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked with EVERY kitchen/cooking item you could ever need! There are a few things that need attention: the washer leaks & is moldy, the toilet in the "pig" bathroom rocks when you sit on it. The temperature schedule on the thermostat is unrealistic to Summer in Tennessee as the temp rose above 80 in the "swing" room our first night. Overall it was a pleasant experience overall.

Awesome stay!
I will start with the cons because the list is very short. Its a bit tricky to find the home and I believe one of the rooms that is listed as a queen is actually a full size bed. Other than that, the home is AMAZING! The pictures don't do this house justice. There was a winter advisory during our stay and the temperatures were below avarage. The staff was extremely attentive and did everything to ensure our pipes didnt freeze and we were nice and warm. I greatly appreciated that and I would reccomend this home to anyone!

Excellent House for Large Family
The house accommodates up to 14 people and worked out great for our extended family vacation. The rooms were spacious for different age groups to do their own thing (game room, TVs & couches in multiple rooms, multiple bathrooms, reading room, large hot tub on deck, large kitchen area, laundry room, etc.). The pool area and exercise room were extra nice! This place had everything we needed and more. We all loved it!

Great place to stay
There is a lot of public space, and it was nice for us to spread out in them but not be crowded: the teens played pingpong, the adults read, watched tv, etc. The porch with the big swinging couch was a great hit. It's quite near multiple attractions and restaurants. Being near the train tracks wasn't as bad as we had feared. Even those of us who are light sleepers managed ok. However, there is some nighttime noice from the trains and also from the road. We liked it well enough that we're considering returning to Chattanooga and the May house next year.

Who invited the ants?
If you have a large group then this is the home for you. We really enjoyed the sunroom and deck. The shared pool was nice, too. However, we were greeted w/ open food left in the kitchen cabinets, wrappers left in dresser drawers and ants, LOTS OF ANTS. The dishwasher had a broken lower rack that was to be replaced while we were there, washer was broke (but that actually was replaced), we had to provide our own LP gas, the gas fireplace by the shared pool has "not worked in a couple of years", broken swim-spa cover that again, "has needed fixed for a few years but we haven't" so this caused debris and foam to get into the spa daily. Come prepared to clean! Also, a big negative is the steps that lead up into the loft areas. Even my children were afraid to use them! EXTREMELY steep. Also one bed described as "queen" is actually a full w/ a trundle. Great location to attractions. We enjoyed our time for sure but we did not enjoy the daily disappointments of broken things that certainly could have been an easy fix.
