The hotel was very convenient to all downtown shops and dining. The rooms are dated but clean. Our room with 2 beds turned out to be a 2 bedroom room. That was nice because one of us stays up later than the other. Basic continental breakfast - well kept and clean room. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Decent place but old building and appliances. The only hot item in the breakfast is waffle through machine. No eggs or sausages or pancakes. Would rather stay closer to Mackinac city than driving far to get same or similar services at this price range.

We were not comfortable with this motel. They still used an actual key and the lock was flimsy at best. The phone didn’t work so we had to call the main line for assistance. There were two rooms but there was only climate control for the back room. The bathroom had two doors but neither one had a lock. It’s an old motel that is desperately in need of remodel. It reminds me of a “weekly stay” motel. Still they charged the same as a chain motel in Mackinaw City. We cancelled our reservation after some himming and hawing from the owner who was gracious eventually.

Good: The gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant & accommodating to our request for a handicap accessible room. The beds, towels & linens were nice & clean. Please keep in mind if you are looking for a 5 Star Hotel this isn’t it. It’s your basic roadside stay with outdated furniture & decor. Not Good: Our room smelled musty when we first walked in so we opened the window. My husband had to clean to AC filter which was dirty/dusty. Overall the area is quiet & we felt safe

Stayed at the property for 2 nights with family. The rooms were clean. One room carpet was visibly stained. Bathroom was moderately updated. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee, cereals, muffins, fruits were enough in varieties to get our day started. Staff was cordial and polite. Daily house cleaning. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
