The Stables at Nyland View (Cheddar)

This is a self contained open plan guest house with kitchen area, bathroom, bedroom and living area with a king sized bed.

THE SPACE

This stylish and comfortable self-catering guesthouse is situated in the heart of Somerset’s world-famous Cheddar Village, home to the spectacular Cheddar Gorge and Caves and birthplace of the UK’s most famous national cheese.

‘The Stables’ is within walking distance of the local attractions, as well as five pubs and an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes. We also have a local butcher, chemist, post office and two supermarkets close by.

The Stables has been lovingly renovated into spacious, well-designed accommodation, providing a clean, comfortable and contemporary holiday home.

Although the guesthouse is ideally suited for two adults, the double sofa bed (at the end of the king size bed) means that we can accommodate another adult/child as well. There is also plenty of space for you to bring a cot/travel bed for younger children or babies. Additional bedding can be supplied on request.

Cheddar get away
A remodeled horse stable very modern and clean. Nice patio area. Currently doing some remodeling but that did not detract. Hosts are very welcoming and attentive.

Lovely stay. 10/10 would choose to stay here again.
Tim and Tammy were so warm and welcoming when we arrived, the guest home is so nice with its own little garden space to hang out outside when you’re done exploring Cheddar. All the sites and sounds of Cheddar are so close to the property it really makes the stay that much better. I will be returning to the area many more times and will absolutely be looking to book this spot again.

What a lovely little property. Everything you need to be self contained for a few days away. Good location for exploring Somerset. Very friendly and helpful hosts. They really made you feel so welcome. Many lovely touches such as fresh flowers, milk and other basic provisions on arrival. We had a roof leak while we were there, and they sorted so quickly - honestly couldnt fault them.

Lovely property in a lovely location.
We had a fantastic experience staying at Nyland View. Tim and Tammy have made a lovely comfortable property that is very well placed in a lovely town. The property is suitably equipped with plenty of space to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome. We would definitely book again we’re we to return to the area!
