Next day morning after the booking, I got call from hotel person saying "your booking is not confirmed. They told Expedia that all the rooms are booked but they allocated one room to you. However, this is not confirmed by them".
However, he said, after we reach there, he will help us to get an accommodation in the same hotel (if any cancellation done) or in another hotel.
Again, he called by 4.30 in the evening & asked me to cancel the booking in Expedia, he will try to get an accommodation in the same hotel or somewhere else since there is a discrepancy with Expedia and this hotel about the amount calculation.
Finally, I got another booked after roaming around Chromepet, Chennai. Nice experience that roaming in Chromepet roads with family and kids to search for accommodation after long drive where the accommodation is well planned already but no use. Thanks to Expedia & KEK Accommodation Annexure-1. Not sure what is the problem btn them. Finally, we as customer were victim.
Now, I have requested Expedia for redund. Let us see how they behave for this.
