Welcome to Bear Trot! This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 bath Smoky Mountain cabin rental is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation getaway.

Bear Trot is within a 5 minute drive to downtown Bryson City and a fifteen minute drive to downtown Cherokee. Perfect location for the "on the go" vacation or if you are just wanting to "chill" Bear Trot is perfect for you.

The main living area gas fireplace, upscale furnishings, flat screen TV, cathedral ceiling and abundant windows that seemingly bring the outdoors in.

Bear Trot provides a fully equipped kitchen which provides you with all the modern appliances and utensils to treat all of your guests to a delicious home cooked meal while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains.

The first of three bedrooms you will find a luxurious king, in-suite full bath and flat screen TV. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and the third bedroom offers two twins. All bedrooms have their own TV. The second and third bedroom are located across the breezeway from the main-living area.

Beautiful Cabin
We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. It was close to many park hiking trails which we really enjoyed as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bear Trot Cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations! This charming abode is not only minutes away from downtown but also conveniently close to the Polar Express festivities. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat without sacrificing proximity to key attractions. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The attention to detail in cleaning did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced the overall experience. Parking was a breeze, and the quiet area and private hot tub added to the serene ambiance. It was a relief to return to such a peaceful haven after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The owners went above and beyond by calling on Saturday to ensure our stay was going smoothly and to inquire if we needed anything. The kitchen in Bear Trot Cabin deserves special mention. It was a joy to find a well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the staples needed for a family meal. The convenience of having a grocery store just 5 minutes away made it super easy to enjoy a meal at the house. In summary, I highly recommend Bear Trot Cabin for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and conveniently located retreat.

House was perfect for our group of four - plenty of room, bedrooms. bathrooms and all very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Great location to Bryson City and Blue Ridge Pkwy. Management Company was very easy to work with and even called on Saturday to check in with us to make sure all was going well at the house.

We loved our stay! It was adorable and very clean!! The hot tub was amazing and location was great! Not far from Cherokee and there was a grocery store just a couple miles down the road!! The only down side... there is not much for TV and no wifi and service is iffy! Fine for a night or two, but a long term stay would be difficult! And the water on the property was not hot, a little over warm at most. And check out time is a little earlier than most. This is a great place to stay for adult weekend getaway or a family vacation!! Over all it was an amazing stay and we will be back!!

If you’re familiar with the area it is very close to town and Ingles, all the roads are easy, no steep hills. Quiet and private location, had everything we needed. Super cute cabin that was very comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect GSMNP Getaway
Had a great time staying at this home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect. The location was an ideal jumping off point for visiting the national park and very close to restaurants in Bryson City (there was also a grocery store very close).

Nice cabin and good location.
We are seniors with no priors. The cabin was quite nice as many described in previous reviews. Heading home after a four night stay, we were called by the realtor accusing us of ‘accidentally’ taking a used older king quilt (see website pictures) After an accidental text sent to said realtor, and joking with the other couple calling them Bonny and Clyde and a quilt heist the realtor charged $225 to our credit card. I explained I was joking. But the owner, who found the missing quilt, was a minister and apparently we were not to be believed. Why would we steal a $20 resale valued quilt and lose potentially a $500 deposit? Really? We tried calling when we arrived home but were told good Christians don’t go around stealing. Tried a letter explaining. I think an apology would have been nice. Being called a thief, unchristian, and a liar, left a bad taste. Thank goodness we cancelled the card as we suspected a scam. Or we’d be trying to get that back.

Lovely Cabin!
We had an amazing time at Bear Trot cabin. This cabin is not only beautiful but very clean and the layout is wonderful! There were only two of us, so we didn't use the other bedrooms but I can see how families or couples would enjoy the split plan. Between the main cabin area and the extra bedrooms/bathroom, there's a beautiful breezeway/screened in porch. Plenty of space and comfortable seating throughout the cabin. We didn't even need to contact anyone because everything worked perfectly and clear instructions were provided. Loved our stay and hope to return! Very close to Bryson City and Cherokee.
