Easy check in process. Hidden gem in a great area. Minutes from anything you’d want. Shopping. Escape rooms, bars, beercades, etc. parking garage next door is on spothero and a great way to store your car for the weekend. It’s next to the redline. There is street noise that can be loud at times but that’s a given. Cafe downstairs is a nice touch. Nice view of the Hancock building from room. Would stay again with no hesitations.

Property is clean and very affordable for the location. I went over labor day and found a great queen single. This is a great hotel for single or couple travellers. It is very hip and location is excellent.

The hotel was fun and funky and you could not beat the location. Some staff were very nice and some not so much. Felt very safe in the hotel and around the block. The rooms could have used a deep cleaning and be careful of the throw rugs…tripping hazard. The hotel bar was fun. Overall would recommend and stay again.

I love that they let me check in before 3pm, and the room was cute. Bakery on site was great for the morning. The staff was super nice and helpful. They do have a “no housekeeping unless you ask for it by 2pm” rule, and I forgot to ask for it a few times. Also, this could just be because it was during the D.N.C. but there were a lot of sirens at night and so it wasn’t the quietest. But it was a good deal for the price!

This is such a fun property. It is unlike any hotel that I have ever stayed at. It's more rock-n-roll than sterile hospital. Our only complaint is that the bathroom needed a fan. It gets awfully steamy after a shower.

Retro gem downtown
Boutique style hotel with really cool retro decor. Rooms are small but you’re in downtown Chicago so that’s expected. Staff is super nice. Excellent value and location. Will not hesitate to stay here again for our next Cubs pilgrimage trip!
