Room was clean and tidy. Great location. Staff was mostly helpful except when there was a noise issue keeping us awake at 3am by another guest. The night clerk didn’t offer to call until I politely asked. He told me I could move rooms. Our room faced the train, which wasn’t ideal, but not the hotels fault for 24 service. I would just ask not to face it if you are a light sleeper.

It was a small, and simple room. There were several stains around including in the dresser drawers, and some spots on the bedsheets. Staff was kind and probably would’ve assisted if I decided to complain about the room, but I didn’t mind. Tv does not allow any HDMI plug-ins, only cable. Otherwise the area was great, parking is a bit of a hassle (common in the city). There was a lot of ruckus from neighbors (post-cubs game excitement) but nothing too late. Overall pleasant experience. Perfect for a night or weekend stay, not for picky people.

Great place to stay near Wrigleyville
Loved the retro vibe and the location in relation to where I was going and what I was doing. Plenty of food and drink options nearby and next door to a subway station.

Decent hotel at a good price and in a good locatio
Hotel was an easy walk from Wrigley. The staff were nice. The building feels old (not in a good way) when you walk in and the air in the room just felt (and smelled) a little stale. Not enough to make you wish you weren’t there….but enough that you just didn’t feel like “I’m in a crisp, clean room and ready for one of those amazing hotel room sleeps”. For the price it works…but it just didn’t feel “nice”. Bed was comfy though and it worked for the purpose of my stay.

We had a great stay. Staff was pleasant. The room was small but clean. Huge bathroom which was spotless. The hallways and stairwell were a little musty and in need of new carpet but hey it's an old building. Comfy bed. The only thing was the lumpy pillows. Might have given it 4 stars if the pillows were better. Otherwise fine place and will definitely stay here again (just bring our own pillows). Great location right at the Belmont Station easy acces to everything Chicago has to offer. nice walk to Wrigley Field.

I needed a cozy little launching pad for a quick 2 day adventure and City Suites was perfect. The area is cute with lots of restaurants and shops and I felt completely safe exploring during the day and walking to and from my concert venue at night. The staff was efficient and friendly and my room was cozy and clean and surprisingly quiet given the hotel is adjacent to the L. I will definitely stay here again on future rock and roll adventures.

The hotel was extremely convenient for staying over after seeing a concert at the Vic Theater. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious and its a great neighborhood for shopping and dining.
