I got a room on the first floor. My first impression was that it was really dirty and had dirty towels on the floor when I went in. I called front desk to ask if I could get another room. They said no & hung up on me. Never again.

Quick Stay after long drive
The decor is a bit drab, dark and it just doesn’t fit any sort of modern aesthetic. So much so that it was odd staying there. Service was great though, so was the cleanliness. The layout wasn’t the best as it felt like I had to walk a long time just to reach my room on the first floor.

Area seemed safe. A lot of noise from the interstate. Could use a remodel.. it’s very dated and kinda dingy to be a Hilton hotel. The WiFi took an act of congress to get on.. I finally just said forget it. The bed felt worn out, almost like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Definitely won’t stay there again.

Our room was on the first floor. When I checked in, no directions were given on where to go to get to our room, so we roamed around a bit. Finally found it, but would have been nice to be told where it was.

We found the hotel cozy and the staff really friendly. While the hotel rooms are outdated, they were super clean and comfy. We appreciate the warm cookies before bed. Only feedback is that the phone systems were not working so you either call the main line using your cell or go down to front desk. Calling in took a long time. Overall, great place to stay and only 30 mins away from downtown Chicago!
