Good property-old but updated, clean rooms

Really enjoyed this hotel. It is directly next to the theatre we were attending (CIBC) and could not have been more convenient. Interior was sort of the standard Hampton In which was fine. Comfortable.very clean. The bottom windows were covered because of the location of our room which was a bit of a bummer but just normal reality for Chicago hotels. Also it’s older so the elevator is small and the layout from the lobby to the valet is weird. Different floors. but the rooms are absolutely fine and the location for theatre district is top shelf. The staff were friendly too.

The Theater (CIBC) is part of the same building. It couldn’t be more convenient to come and see a show. We will do this again.

Excellent Location in downtown Chicago!

I love the location of the Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Hotel. It's in the theatre district. It's so close to shopping, local busses, and the famous Chicago EL train lines. The hotel is great with lots of history tied to the building. It was also so clean and some of the friendliest staff. As a solo traveler, I felt safe in the area. The breakfast options were also excellent. My belly was full every morning before I ventured out. My only minor complaint is the pillows. There were 4 on my bed but man they were so extra soft that I got a sore neck from it. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and will continue to book at this location when I visit Chicago.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Majestic. The staff were excelllent and friendly, the breakast was always replenished and hot (though same thing everyday), and location was excellent. You could walk to anything and were pretty close to the Magnificent Mile, Millenium park, River Walk and lots of shopping and food options. The train to the airport is half a block away so we would definitely stay here again! One issue was the wait times for the elevator but the stairs are an option if you are able. Lobby is on the fourth floor.

Property had an old feel. Great place to sleep but don’t expect much more than that. Parking is pricey but your vehicle is cares for. Breakfast wasn’t bad. Great location for shopping and train access. Served a purpose.

It felt somewhat old-fashioned, but breakfast was provided in the morning, and it was located in the center of the city. The subway was right in front, making transportation very convenient.

Close to shopping and public transit, a really beautiful older building. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only one negative was the lack of sound proofing between rooms, keeping the fan on helped with noisy neighbours!

Great location and staff

Come to the Loop to see a show with friends and found this hotel right next door to the theater. Loved the room, comfortable bed, and hot breakfast. The staff was very gracious and helpful.
