The staff were awesome: Mateo, James, Jesus, Johnny especially. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. The desk receptionist did not get our room away from the elevator after an early check in request. She did not text us as stated she would when a room would be ready. When we arrived back at 6 our room was in front of an elevator again. However, James took care of the problem and I was very grateful to him. We had avoided 2 previous choices at the early check in to avoid this, but no message was left for the new receptionist as per our request when we arrived and dropped off our luggage with Jesus so we could walk to the Shedd aquarium.

Very good experience at this hotel. Excellent location, attentive and friendly staff, room was clean. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Only complaint was the bathroom - very little counter space (or anywhere to store toiletries) and the sliding barn door did little for privacy. Otherwise, very happy with our stay and would stay here again.
