Our room wasn’t very clean, a lot of the things in the bathroom were very dusty and the towels smelled of mildew. We left for dinner and came back to parking attendants directing traffic. Apparently there was a wedding happening and there must have been THOUSANDS of people attending. There was people walking all over the parking lot, hitting other cars. There was absolutely NOWHERE for us to park. We called the front desk and asked what we should do and their response was “There’s not really anything I can do about the parking situation.” We are PAYING customers staying in the hotel, why are guests of a wedding prioritized for parking over a paying guest? Unsure. Ended up with a wedding guest hitting our car after we had driven around for 25 minutes trying to find a parking spot and having to park down the road and walk from there about a mile. We asked what could be done about this situation and their response was “ We can’t do anything for you, you’ve already checked in.” Will not be coming back to this hotel. I understand it is also a convention center, but people who are paying for a room should 100% be prioritized over event guests.
