This place was great location for my wife and I. It was our first time in Chicago and our stay was fantastic. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. I would say one of the best things about the hotel is that it is within walking distance to many places. When you need to get a bit farther, it's only a couple blocks from public transportation. Our only criticism would be that the rooms need a bit of an update. In our room, we noticed a few spots where the wallpaper was damaged, and one spot about 1-foot square where they repaired the wallpaper, but the new stuff didnt quite match and wasn't fully attached. Nothing deal breaking, since everything else was so good.

Great location, nice hotel, lounge area, and good service. The one thing that I would rate low is that you can hear the people in the room next to you almost clearly, at normal speaking volume.

Amazing Hotel with great costumer service. It had many restaurants, theaters and shops with walking distance as well as the River walk. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

It could be a better hotel if it weren’t for a few issues. It’s an old hotel, and the room was very dark. The only window we had faced the train tracks, so the view wasn’t great. The staff was nice, but the hotel charges a daily fee for things that should be basic, like Wi-Fi, the gym, and water in the room. There’s no room service or fridge in the room, which wasn’t convenient for us because my mom has allergies and likes to keep some fruit around, but we couldn’t do that. The worst part is that they close the restaurant on Mondays, so we couldn’t have breakfast. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it, especially considering it wasn’t cheap.
