Was in town for business meetings. Arrived a couple hours before check in. The coffee shop downstairs had a lovely outside area overlooking the garden for meeting with colleagues until the room was ready. Restaurant COA was fabulous! Room was very comfortable. Really nice. I guess the current owner bought this property a few years back, and the restaurant is helping this gem make a comeback. Only advice I would give is to update the dark and somewhat stodgy lobby and "Colonial" breakfast/lunch restaurant a bit. The rather loud Frank Sinatra music on a loop could be turned down a bit too .
