Was a nice boutique hotel. I liked it a lot and my girlfriend did too. Staff was very nice and friendly and it is convenient to everything you'd want to go to. I'd definitely stay here again.

HOW CHARMING!
Loved this quaint place! Only difficulty was unloading luggage on busy street in the rain. Wish there was a better designated area.
Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and it was so charming.
Would definitely book back again when returning to Chicago.
Staff is always super friendly. Stayed in December. The room was so hot- was hard to control the temp. Had to use the ac. Also the radiator banging was crazy loud. But its an old building so maybe not surprising. A towel rack for the hand towel would be good.
It was clean, small elevator, parking is not included and a little confusing, but the hotel staff was super friendly and made the process easier. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfy.
Check in was good and stay was nice. When I booked the room it stated I got a bottle of wine as part of the stay. Nothing was mentioned upon check in and when I was checking out I inquired about the bottle and the clerk seemed almost put our that I asked the question. He asked if we took one from room and I said no and the option I was offered was to take my key back go back up to the room and get one of the bottles. Just seemed odd and again was not a very pleasant person. Nice hotel in a great lillte area.

It’s was just overall fine. No parking unless you pay $25 for 24hr. Rooms were dingy. Get what ya pay for.
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were kind and the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is a little bit out of the way, in a more residential area, so it was quieter when were there earlier in November. The hotel is a unique building and has a lot of character with all of it's Cub's memorabilia. It is about a 15 minute walk to the red line. There are many bars and restaurant options not far that you could walk to. We didn't have a car, so we did not use the parking option. We would definitely stay again.
Extremely disappointed in my room at this hotel! I was really appalled by the facilities in our room, comfortability & cleanliness of our stay. However, there were some good parts.
To start with the good, the staff was very nice. They greeted us each day and you can tell they put effort into their jobs. Also, location was walkable. 10/10
The bad- hotel rooms were disgusting and old. The first room smelled so bad of mildew we had to move before we could even sleep. Also, the bedding didn’t have a fitted sheet. Bathrooms were so gross I didn’t really even feel clean after showering. The outlets didn’t work, bathroom amenities were below average and you have to request housekeeping- they don’t come automatically. The internet/phone service in rooms were so bad we couldn’t use our phones in there. The rooms also look nothing like the pictures. 3/10

The bathroom was small, and the window would not close so you could hear wind gusting all the time. Not easy to navigate 4 people
