The room was nice but when we showed up there was hair all over our sink. There was no hot water in the sink either. Then the following day when we went down for breakfast they advised that they were not doing the breakfast buffet since the beginning of December they had stopped it. It would have been nice to know that since we were looking forward to it and they only had the market open which did not have a lot of breakfast options. We also checked out the heated pool but when we got there it did have a bit of a draft which made it uncomfortable as it felt cold and the pool also was very dirty. The view from our room was the only nice thing.

The property is quite lovely. There are only a couple things that made my stay less than perfect. First, we had absolutely no access to television during our entire stay. I contacted the front desk and was advised that none of the rooms had service and they were working to repair the issue. I’m not sure if the issue has since been resolved, but it hadn’t been when I checked out. Second, the website convinced me that I would have spectacular views. My view from my room was a clear view into other guests’ rooms.

I like the ambiance of the hotel. The bar/dining area is beautiful. The grand room has an amazing view of the skyline. I was very pleased.

Cons: The rooms are very clean and tidy at check in, but housekeeping never came to clean the room once during my three day visit. The tv was never worked and I called engineering twice, but no one ever showed up. The window for a standard room faced 3/4 of a wall and 1/4 of the pool. The walls were paper thin so I could hear the next door neighbors. Heating units were very loud. Pros: Housekeeping brought extra towels at my request, but that doesn’t make up for not coming to clean the room at all. The one person at the front desk and at the refreshment stand were always pleasant and cheerful. The lounge was beautiful and lovely to hang out at.

Room was good in size, clean, comfy. Loved full sized toiletries, not tiny bottles. Service was great. No microwave, this would be helpful. Consider microwaves in a common area. Parking is across the street, $59. $200 deposit is way too much for a hold.. overall enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable bed. Clean bedding. king size room could have been larger but we had a wonderful view of river walk from highest floor. The Shower temperature was difficult to manage. Turn knob had to be slightly tapped just so to dial in just enough heat to not give you a scald burn. Took several attempts and finally I just settled on a water temperature that wouldn’t burn my skin but also wasn’t very warm either. Hallway walls and flooring need updates.
