I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was beautiful, located is a great area with a nice view. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be that our room smelt like cigarettes.

My biggest complaint is that we used their valet, and one of their drivers decided to take our car for a joy ride. The garage is right next to the hotel so we know it didn’t take 7 miles to get there. All of our mirrors were adjusted to his view. Our seat was moved to his position. He marked the inside of our window with a gang sign, which I can only assume was because he left our car unlocked for people to search through. My Chanel sunglasses are the only thing I can tell were stolen (so far). Very bold move by this guy. We saw the gang symbol after we checked out and that’s when I searched my car to see what’s missing, and realized the sunglasses were stolen. I would’ve notified the hotel myself if we saw it earlier.

Excellent stay at W Lakeshore. Has an amazing view of the city and is walking distance to any place of interest you might want to visit downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Stuck in the 80s - NOT a 4 star hotel
Dated, noisy with zero room amenities. I have never seen a hotel that claims to be a 4 star hotel of a known chain to have plastic disposable cups instead or glasses or mugs. No kettle no complementary hot drinks......i guess they were going to melt the plastic cups..... When the air-condition was on it was like you were inside an aeroplane cabin (the noise was unbearable and unacceptable). We have to queue for 15 mins to get a lift to our floor . .....i can go on and on and on

Not likely to stay here again. For a $500 room for one night, it was lackluster at best. Paint in the bathroom was dusty, the room was cramped, the table was dented up and looked old. Elevator took 10 minutes when it was four of them. Ice room was closed for maintenance. Went to the bar and bartender was not there. Lady at the front desk kept telling us someone was there and they weren't. Terrible hotel.
