Relaxing and tranquil stay...
My husband and small son stayed here a fortnight ago for a couple of nights. It was a really relaxing break in this very charming country house, full of lots of character in such an idyllic setting. The gardens are huge and beautiful. We walked in them each morning, which started off each day in such a calming way. I echo the previous reviewer's comments - the owners were very welcoming and personable. Each morning, we were greeted by one of the owners with pleasant, unobtrusive conversation and who was a good source of local information. There was a wide selection of continental and cooked breakfast options. There is also a highly fashionable coffee shop/lounge on the estate which I would highly recommend people to pop into, even if they're not staying at this place, as they offer very tasty cakes. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A hotel with a particularly private and exclusive
We are very warmly welcomed. It was from the first moment, like visiting friends. The house is filled with wonderful antiques and the bedrooms bright, large and offer a magnificent view into a paradise garden. The breakfast in the large dining room at an oversized old mahogany table with nice porcelain and old silver plates is a highlight. In addition to the excellent breakfast dishes from the kitchen, charming and unobtrusive served by the owner himself.

Charmantes B&B nahe Chichester und der Kanalküste
Nach etwas Suche, das Haus ist an der Straße nicht beschildert, wurden wir herzlich begrüßt. Das Haus ist ein altes, nett renoviertes Farmhaus. Unser Zimmer "en suite" war sehr geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Das Alter des Hauses bedingt Gegebenheiten, die man eben akzeptieren muss, z.B. knarrende Dielenböden, umständlich zu öffnende Fenster, tiefe Teppichböden Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend, auf Wunsch wurde ein "full english breakfast" serviert. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, vielleicht standen deshalb nur eine Marmelade, keine sonstigen Brotauftriche, kein Käse oder Wurst auf dem Frühstückstisch. Dies hätte/musste man nachfragen. Das fanden wir, auch in Anbetracht des Preises, schade.
