The room is small but has everything I need from a safe to a refrigerator, and it’s very clean and had an interior designer who did a very nice job. No ugly art, and it has a muted greytone wallpaper depiction of historic downtown Chico in a collage style and nice lights.

Check in was delayed. Evidently the staff did not coordinate our arrival time. The electric key kept failing, so we had to get replacements. Perhaps the lock on room 107 is defective. Staff was friendly and attempted to remedy the situation.

The electric key card lost capacity to unlock, so I had to replace at least three times. Perhaps it was the lock for room 107. The desk clerk was apologetic, but the problem with room keys was a hassle.

The room has been renovated and it was really nice. The only drawback were the people outside our door conversing loudly till about 10:30 pm and smoking. The smoke also came into our room. The breakfast was nice but there was very little coffee.
