Spectacular views of the gulf, especially at sunset are seen from both the kitchen, living room and front deck. Throw on your bathing suit in the morning and head down the road to relax on the beach or launch your boat right in the backyard. Next to the ramp, the boat dock out back on the canal allows fisherman to keep their boats in the water, but watch the tides to ensure enough water flow to get out to the gulf when ready to fish. This property is located on a commercial fishing/clamming canal as well as the Gulf of Mexico making it a unique property in a one-of-a-kind town. Like to fish but didn’t bring a boat, you can fish and crab right from our dock or join others on the new huge fishing pier downtown. Or take one of the many excursions offered by boat Captains off Dock Street to fish or sight-see the many islands that make up the Cedar Keys.
When the sun is setting, step out on the front deck to feel the breeze and enjoy the spectacular sunset view over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. You may see a school of dolphin cavorting in the cove right in front of you or even the swirl of a black drum close enough to make you want to throw a line out. When hunger strikes you'll find everything you need to cook up mouth watering dishes and if you're a fan of the world famous Cedar Key farm raised clams, walk down a few doors to get some from our local clam wholesaler. Cedar Key also offers outstanding local cuisine in its many casual dining restaurants. Check out terrific local musicians performing around town including Steamers Bar & Grill and the Island Hotel.
