The highway noise was very loud, they definitely do not have 2 or three pane windows. Parking was a little sketchy as it was so full I was parking I. Front of the gas station, and there’s quite a few transients in that area. Outside of that the hotel and hotel staff are great. I didn’t go into the pool or fitness area.

This is a new hotel and very nice. We were on the side away from the freeway so it was quiet. The front desk reception (Rose) was very friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Good Quality Hotel
This was our first time at this hotel and overall it was a good experience. The room was good quality, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Everything worked well. We appreciated little touches like make up wipes, coffee & tea, a choice of soft or firm pillows, and a good variety of tv channels. The young man at the desk was warm and friendly. Breakfast is one of the better hotel buffets we’ve experienced in North America, including pre made omelets, bacon, sausages, hash browns and a variety of breads and pastries. We did have a neighbor above who walked around late in the night and again from 5:00 am, but that’s out of control of the hotel and the sound proofing muffled the sound fairly well. No noise from adjoining rooms or hallways, and we opted for a room away from the highway. The one thing we would suggest is recycle bins in the rooms. We’ve stayed in most of the better quality hotels in Chilliwack and this was the best of the bunch.

This is a very small Holiday Inn and so the overall facility is limited. Pool was very small, gym was tiny (and the off-gassing from the equipment was so bad we chose not to use it), and the “suite” isn’t actually a suite with a separate bedroom. Location is immediately beside the highway - our room overlooked it. Parking is shared with a gas station which means you can end up quite far away which is annoying in the rain (there’s underground parking but no direct access from there to the hotel). Breakfast was a plus - good variety. Overall it’s fine if you need a place to stay for the night but I wouldn’t choose it if you’re actually staying in the area.

Our stay was good. The staff are friendly. The room is comfortable and the entire facility was clean no problems there. The only problem we had was parking. It is very limited for the hotel size. They share the lot with the gas station. Our room faces the highway, but we had no issue with the noise. Very quiet.
