Book a hotel near Chimelong Paradise, Panyu

"What Could Have Been - The cozy duplex looked fantastic in the photos, sized just right for our family and had so much potential to be an amazing Christmas in Guangzhou, but alas.. the upkeep (or lack thereof) of items inside and missed attention to hygiene turned off my family so much we had to seek to cancel rest of our stay shortly after arrival. Even after we went through the property staff who denied any refund for rest of our stay sadly we still had to go. I did appreciate the early check-in and helpful directions from hotel via Expedia chat, but it only made us realize our mistake sooner :("

"I'm sorry that I didn't take photos. The size of the rooms are really nice. My room's chair and bench seat had horrible large stains room 2208. The phone was very dusty. The hallway carpet were never vacuumed during my 5 day stay there, lots of lint on the entire hallway. The bellman won't help unless you ask, they also don't help you with luggage. I put dnd light on but they knocked and insisted on bringing in towels. I stayed there because my friend lives nearby and the price is reasonable. The breakfast buffet is not catered to foreigners at all but you can find yourself some boiled eggs, bread, salad and fruit. The rest of the buffet is dim sum and congee. Overall a very average 3 star because the room is nice and large but general upkeep like big stains is not acceptable for a hotel "
