Great location: lots of food options, shopping big and small, some sights, near- and long-distance transportation (taxi, train, bus). I kept extending my stay, night after night, to continue exploring downtown Yangon.
The staff are friendly and jump to provide assistance. They helped me book a last-minute bus to Pathein and flagged down a taxi to the western highway bus station. Daily housekeeping is thorough.
The included breakfast is basic (small bottle of water, instant coffee, cheese + mayo (?) sandwich from Parisian bakery). The wall A/C is efficient and effective. Shower water can be very hot (you can control the temperature) and has good water pressure. Wifi works well enough for e-mail and basic surfing. Nice bedsheets and fluffy pillow.
I had an interior room - no exterior window, which was fine with me. Instead, there was a frosted window to the hallway, which transmitted enough light into the room at night that it wasn't that dark (not dark enough). A curtain would be nice. Some of the neighbors were sometimes noisy late at night (watching videos, phone conversations, etc.) - their noise would spill into the main hallway and then echo into other rooms.
